Have a sweater you love but has started to fray or come loose? No need to get rid of it!

Learn two methods to repair worn out sweater cuffs and edges: a plain darning weave and Scotch darning.

Your sweater will become wearbale again! 

Materials:

Students must bring:

• A sweater or knit clothing item with a worn cuff or edge that they can practice on 

• A soda bottle or similar that fits into the garment sleeve to hold its shape while darning

Students can bring their own yarn if preferred (there will be yarn available)

All other materials included

Students should know how to do a plain weave darn. Knowledge of blanket stitch is helpful but not required. Visible Mends- Darning is a great class to take before this one if you don't have these skills yet!
